Good food gives great benifits

What is Dietary Analysis?

A health and diary analysis will evaluate your eating habits to see if they are beneficial to your goals. Whether your looking to lose or gain weight, track your current dietary regime or just not sure where to start in making changes in your diet and health, getting your dietary intake evaluated is the first step in making sure your heading in the right direction with your health.

Dietary evaluation appointments are face to face or via Skype.

Using Nutritional software (Foodzone) and based off a 5-day diet diary completed by you a comprehensive dietary analysis report will provide a breakdown of ...

  • Calories
  • Protein
  • Carbohydrate
  • Fat
  • Fibre
  • 18 vitamins and minerals
  • Omega 3
  • Diet composition (macronutrient ratio %)
  • Information regarding nutrient roles within the body and appropriate foods choices to boost your dietary nutrient intake

Nutrition Diary

It’s a two appointment process (2x 30 minutes)

The first appointment involves returning your completed 5-day diet diary, we will discuss your filled in diary, your eating & cooking habits and have a brief chat about yourself and your health goals. You will also jump on the BIA scales for your Bio-Impedance Analysis. At this stage we will also dedicate a day and time for your second appointment.

At the second appointment you will receive your take home reports and we will go through the results together.

Testimonials about the Dietary Analysis Program

Mieken- Brisbane (Face to Face appointment)

“The overall process was simple, manageable and it was a good turn around time. I thought the reports were well detailed and Joanna walked me through and explained them really well. I particularly liked that they included the RDI measures as well as the population averages as it's great to see where you are against the population as well as against the ideal.

It was good to get an overall snapshot of where my health might be against certain measures. I would recommend it to someone who had a particular health goal in mind or who wanted to get a sense of what working with a nutritionist might be like, it can be a really tough thing trying to find someone to trust and work with on these types of things and it lets people meet you and see what you are about.

It was really great for me to have a positive experience around dietary assessment as it has opened me up more to being able to make changes and know that I can get help to do so without being judged or made to change everything in one go.”
